When a new CISO joined a private university in the Northeast, he needed to know whether the school’s incident response and crisis management plans would actually hold up — and to satisfy the testing requirements of the school’s cyber insurance carrier. The university needed to train faculty and staff to respond to real incidents and emergencies, while also meeting the cyber insurance carrier’s incident-testing requirements.
